Kharkiv residential building destroyed in Russian bomb attack, one dead and children injured

Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs on Friday, October 2, destroying a residential building and killing one person, with children among the injured. The death toll stands at one, with 17 people injured, according to regional governor Oleh Syniehubov. One 48-year-old man is in surgery. Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed children are among the wounded. The strikes hit the Slobidskyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts, damaging about 10 homes in each area, plus offices, a school, and six cars. This follows a drone attack on a high-rise and a shopping center strike on September 30.
