Russian Strikes on Kyiv Restrict Key Dnipro Bridges; Ukraine Debuts FP-7 Missile
Russian attacks on Kyiv have restricted traffic on key bridges over the Dnipro River, including the Pivdennyi Bridge, which is closed in both directions after repeated strikes. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the closures, with the Paton Bridge also temporarily shut and the Metro Bridge partially limited. The attacks have forced several bus and trolleybus routes to use alternative crossings. Authorities have not reported direct strikes on the Paton or Metro bridges themselves, though the Pivdennyi Bridge sustained hits on its support structure and roadway. Separately, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the first combat use of Ukraine's new FP-7 tactical ballistic missile, developed by Fire Point, with a range of about 200 kilometers.
