Russia Strikes Kyiv's Southern Bridge Again in Morning Attack
Russia struck the Pivdennyi (Southern) Bridge in Kyiv again this morning, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. Emergency services have been dispatched to the site, with no reports of casualties or damage yet. The strike was reported around 5:03 AM. Separately, drone debris fell in the Holosiivskyi district, damaging windows in a non-residential building and several cars, while a 25-story residential building was damaged in the Darnytskyi district. No fires or injuries were reported. On October 1, two Russian drones attacked the same bridge near its support structure, halting metro traffic while a train was passing. Passengers and the driver were unharmed, and ground transport resumed, but metro service remains suspended.
