A Russian strike on a residential building in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district killed one person and injured two others, sparking a fire in the structure. The attack occurred on the night of October 2, hitting the upper floors of a 25-story building. Rescuers extinguished the fire on floors 24-25 and evacuated six people, with two injured individuals handed to medics. The fire covered 120 square meters, with destruction spanning about 40 square meters. Demolition and dismantling of damaged structures are ongoing.
