Russian drone strike injures rescuer at Zaporizhzhia fire station

Russian forces struck a fire station in the Zaporizhzhia district with a drone on Friday, injuring a rescuer, according to the State Emergency Service. The attack was deliberate. The drone hit the unit's territory as emergency workers were preparing to respond to a call. The injured rescuer is receiving necessary medical care, the agency reported. In a prior incident on August 31, a drone attack damaged a fire station building, a fire truck, and a car in the region, though no personnel were hurt as they were in shelter.
