war.obozrevatel.com (Ukrainian) —

Russian forces struck Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs on Friday, October 2, killing two women aged 66 and 80 and injuring 32 people, including two children. The attack hit the Slobidskyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts, damaging about 20 private homes, office buildings, an educational facility, and vehicles. Mayor Ihor Terekhov and regional governor Oleh Syniehubov reported the casualties. One bomb destroyed a residential building, and rescuers initially checked for a possible person under the rubble. Twenty-two injured people required medical attention, with ten hospitalized, including a 48-year-old man in surgery. A 10-year-old boy suffered minor glass cuts, and a 15-year-old girl received on-site care for acute stress. A separate drone strike in the Kyivskyi district caused a car fire. Emergency services remain at the scenes. This follows a recent Russian drone attack that damaged a protective shelter over the Skovoroda National Literary-Memorial Museum in Kharkiv Oblast.
