Kyiv Reopens Paton Bridge Both Ways with Entry Limits

nv.ua (Ukrainian) —

Traffic on the Paton Bridge in Kyiv has been reopened in both directions after a partial closure on Friday, October 2, according to KCMA spokesperson Kateryna Pop. All restrictions remain in effect except for the bridge reopening. Entry onto the Paton Bridge from the right bank is only permitted from Mykola Mikhnovskyi Boulevard; other entrances from the right to the left bank are closed. The Metro Bridge has one lane restricted from left to right bank. The Pivdennyi Bridge remains fully closed following Russian drone strikes on October 1 and overnight into October 2. Public transport to the left bank is rerouted via the Darnytskyi Bridge with delays, causing a morning traffic collapse across the city.
