Kyiv closes key bridges after Russian drone strikes

ua.korrespondent.net (Ukrainian) —

Kyiv has restricted traffic on several bridges following Russian drone attacks. The Pivdennyi (Southern) Bridge and the Paton Bridge are closed in both directions, with bus routes rerouted via the Darnytskyi Bridge. The Metro Bridge is closed toward the right bank, with bus route No. 1-M diverted via the Podilskyi Bridge. Trolleybus routes No. 43 and No. 50 have also been shortened. Kyivpastrans urged passengers to account for changes when planning trips. Over the past day, Russian forces attacked the Pivdennyi Bridge four times with drones, temporarily halting metro and ground transport. Overnight, a strike hit a 25-story residential building in the Darnytskyi district, killing one person and injuring two others.
