Russian drone attacks on Kyiv close bridges and kill one
Kyiv's mayor Vitali Klitschko says the enemy is destroying the city after Russian drone attacks closed three central bridges, causing traffic chaos and killing one person in a high-rise strike. A 25-story building was hit, killing one and injuring two. Kyiv's defense council met with military and emergency services to maintain city functions under constant attack. President Zelenskyy said Russians couldn't occupy them, so they now conduct mass attacks. Three of six Dnipro River bridges were fully or partially closed Friday, following a new Russian strategy targeting civilians. One key bridge was hit Thursday, repaired, then attacked again overnight. UN human rights chief Volker Türk called the war a growing catastrophe for civilians.
