Russian jet drone hits Kyiv's Pivnichnyi Bridge

pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

A Russian jet-powered drone struck the Pivnichnyi (Northern) Bridge in Kyiv, which connects the right and left banks of the Dnipro River, according to local Telegram channels and Mayor Vitali Klitschko. No information on the extent of damage or potential casualties has been reported yet. The attack follows a series of deliberate Russian drone strikes on the Pivdennyi (Southern) Bridge on October 1-2, which hit the structure at least five times, halting traffic and metro service. The new strike comes after Kyiv authorities introduced stricter traffic rules on Dnipro bridges on October 2, significantly limiting movement on the Northern Bridge from the right to the left bank during air raid alerts.
