Russian drone attack on Kyiv region injures four, including child
On the evening of October 2, Russian forces attacked Hostomel in Kyiv region with drones, injuring four people, including an eight-year-old girl. The attack also caused fires at warehouse and production facilities. Kyiv regional governor Timur Tkachenko reported the casualties. A 66-year-old man suffered the most serious injuries, including body burns and a closed abdominal trauma, and was hospitalized. The girl sustained a shrapnel wound to her leg, while two others had lighter injuries and were treated on site. No fatalities have been reported, and firefighters extinguished the blaze over several hours. Separately, on October 2, hundreds attended a farewell ceremony in Vyshhorod for teenager Illia, who was killed earlier.
