A fire is burning at what is reportedly Europe's largest oil storage facility in Samara, Russia, following explosions overnight. The incident occurred on Friday, October 2, and satellite images have emerged. The Linear Production and Dispatch Station "Samara," part of the Transneft system, was likely hit, according to the Astra Telegram channel. The facility spans over 216 hectares with 71 reservoirs holding more than 1.6 million cubic meters of oil. Local authorities have not commented on the fire, though public transport was temporarily suspended due to a rocket threat. Explosions were also reported in Volgograd, where drones attacked industrial infrastructure, causing a residential fire.
