Third Russian strike hits near Dnipro city council, business center burns
Russia attacked Dnipro again on October 2, with debris falling on the parking lot of the city council; this is the third strike near the municipal building. A fire broke out in a business center in the city center, and casualty information is being clarified. Mayor Borys Filatov confirmed the strike, stating it was the third hit near the Dnipro City Council. The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration released photos showing damage to a business center that had already been attacked earlier in the week. A residential high-rise also caught fire following a separate strike, requiring evacuations. The city center was previously attacked on September 28, when a drone damaged an office building. On September 11, a massive daytime attack injured 11 people.
