Russian strike on Kyiv kills one, injures two in residential hit
A Russian attack on Kyiv damaged a 25-story residential building in the Darnytskyi district, killing one person and injuring two others, according to Ukrinform. The attack also struck the city's South Bridge for a second consecutive day. Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the West against escalation, stating Moscow is ready to use "all weapons" in its arsenal, including nuclear ones, if its Baltic exclave of Kaliningrad is attacked. He characterized NATO exercises in the Baltic Sea as an "escalation." Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported the first combat use of the FP-7 tactical ballistic missile, with production as the next step. He also stated that intercepted intelligence indicates Putin ordered military commanders to abandon the rules of war, leading to increased attacks on civilian targets.
