US resumes Russia-Ukraine peace push after Witkoff and Kushner visit Moscow

The publication noted the visit, which followed CIA Director John Ratcliffe's trip to Moscow last week, signals the Trump administration is renewing ceasefire efforts after months of diplomatic stagnation. Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov described the Kremlin meeting as substantive and constructive. European Union officials criticized Witkoff and Kushner for inconsistency over their Moscow visit. Ratcliffe had also visited the Russian capital in August.
