US promises to relay Putin's peace proposals to Kyiv

Putin confirmed readiness to continue working with Americans on political-diplomatic solutions. Ushakov stated that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner pledged to use Putin's observations during their upcoming contacts in Kyiv, adding that US representatives came well-prepared with proposals for settlement paths. The Kremlin called the talks timely and useful for both sides. This was Kushner's eighth visit to Russia; the US delegation traveled to Kyiv afterward. Russia reported no strikes on Kyiv since midnight September 5, with Ukraine also reducing attack intensity.
