Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra smartphone carries a suggested retail price over $2,000, marking a new high for its premium foldable line. The device targets buyers seeking cutting-edge technology with minimal compromises. The Fold8 Ultra features a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, delivering over 20 percent faster benchmark scores than the Fold7. Its 8-inch OLED display is 15 percent brighter with a barely visible crease, while a silicon-carbon battery adds nearly three hours of runtime and charges in about 70 minutes. The 200-megapixel camera offers excellent photo quality, including low-light performance. However, the Ultra lacks S Pen support, making it less appealing for Fold6 owners who value that feature or prefer the standard Fold8’s wider outer display.
