iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max debut with A20 Pro chip and new AI features

Apple launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at its September event, featuring the new A20 Pro chip and a variable aperture camera system, with prices starting at $1,199 and $1,299. The A20 Pro uses a 2-nanometer process with a six-core CPU, 20% faster Super Cores, a seven-core GPU for 40% better graphics, and a Neural Engine with 32 cores for AI processing. The main camera now has a six-blade variable aperture for manual focus control, replacing fixed apertures. The phones retain the previous design with new colors (Black, Silver, Glacier, Burgundy) and are affected by the memory chip crisis, raising prices. Storage upgrades reach 2TB, with preorders starting Saturday and availability from September 18.
