iPhone 18 Pro's Dynamic Island now tracks three activities at once

Apple introduced the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max on Wednesday, featuring an upgraded Dynamic Island that can now display up to three live activities simultaneously, a first for the feature. The Dynamic Island, which debuted on the iPhone 15 Pro in 2023, previously showed two activities at once. On the new models, the main activity occupies most of the space, with smaller circular icons on either side serving as shortcuts to open those apps. Apple also announced other iPhone 18 Pro features during its event, including a variable aperture main camera, a larger liquid-cooling vapor chamber, improved battery life, and faster charging. The company also revealed a foldable iPhone Duo later in the presentation.
