Apple unveils iPhone Duo, its first foldable phone with book-style design
Apple has unveiled its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, which opens horizontally like a book. Priced at €2,369, it will be available in Italy from late October. The announcement was made by new CEO John Ternus. The device features a 5.4-inch external screen and a 7.6-inch internal display, functioning as both a smartphone and a small tablet. It includes dual batteries for up to 24 hours of use, a 48-megapixel main camera, and a magnetic hinge designed for stability. The launch marks a shift from Apple's traditional September event, which typically focuses on standard iPhone models. Only the iPhone 18 Pro was also presented, with no mention of the standard iPhone 18, which is expected in early 2027.
