Apple has launched its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. The device starts at ₹2,99,900 in India, making it the company's most expensive phone to date. The iPhone Duo features a book-like design with three screens: a 5.4-inch outer display and two 7.6-inch inner screens that can run apps separately or merge into one. It includes a 48-megapixel hidden camera, and its rear camera lets subjects preview themselves on the outer screen. India pricing is ₹1–1.5 lakh higher than in the US. Pre-orders begin October 16, with sales starting October 23. Storage variants range from 256GB to 2TB, with the top model priced at ₹4,49,900. Apple also introduced a feature to detect AI-generated or edited photos.
