Apple launches iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro with new AirPods and Watch 12
Apple launched its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, at a major event led by new CEO John Ternus, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and other devices. The Duo starts at 25,990 Norwegian kroner, with pre-orders opening October 16. The iPhone 18 Pro features a 48-megapixel camera with variable aperture and a new A20 Pro chip, promising 40% sustained performance gains. New AirPods 5 include active noise cancellation, while iOS 27 launches September 14 with an upgraded Siri AI. Apple Watch 12 introduces an always-on "Siri Recap" feature that summarizes conversations, raising privacy concerns. No new Apple TV 4K was announced, and a standard iPhone 18 is delayed until March. Prices largely remained stable despite industry memory shortages.
