iOS 27 arrives September 14 with Siri AI, AI photo editing, Visual Intelligence, and more

Apple will release iOS 27 on September 14, 2026, introducing major AI features including a conversational Siri, AI photo editing, and Visual Intelligence, alongside performance improvements and support for the new foldable iPhone Duo. Siri AI becomes a context-aware assistant with a dedicated app, capable of understanding personal data, answering general questions, and performing actions across apps. Other updates include AI-powered photo tools, smarter Messages and Safari, customizable Liquid Glass design, and faster app launches. Advanced Apple Intelligence features require newer hardware, with support extending back to iPhone 11 and second-generation iPhone SE.
