Apple Delays Several Key iPhone 18 Pro and Watch Features Until Late 2026
Apple announced several new products and features on Wednesday, but many of the most interesting ones won't be available at launch, with some delayed until late 2026. The Apple Watch Series 12, Ultra 4, and AirPods 5 can be preordered now and ship Sept. 18, while iPhone 18 Pro preorders open Saturday and also arrive Sept. 18. The foldable iPhone Duo is further out, with preorders starting Oct. 16 and shipments Oct. 23. Software updates like iOS 27 will be available Sept. 14 for existing devices. Siri AI remains in beta and will roll out gradually in English, with other languages coming in October. Features like Live Rewind on Apple Watch, Passwords app auto-fixing, and the Health app redesign are slated for late 2026 or future updates. iPhone Handoff launches with T-Mobile and Telecom Germany, with Verizon and EE support by year's end.
