Apple unveils Duo, its first foldable iPhone, in Cupertino

Apple unveiled its first foldable iPhone, called Duo, on Wednesday, marking the company's entry into the foldable smartphone market with a device featuring a 7.6-inch display and a starting price of $1,999. The Duo, introduced by new CEO John Ternus at Apple's Cupertino headquarters, offers an 80% larger screen than the iPhone 18 Pro, supports Apple Pencil use, and allows split-screen multitasking. It will be available on Oct. 23, following preorders for the iPhone 18 Pro models starting Sept. 12.
