Apple raises prices on older iPhone models by up to 350 euros

heise.de (German)

Apple has raised prices on older iPhone models by 100 to 350 euros, following earlier increases on Macs, iPads, and accessories. The iPhone 16 now costs 999 euros, up from 849 euros. The iPhone 17 starts at 1,099 euros instead of 949 euros, while the iPhone Air's 1-terabyte version jumped from 1,699 to 2,049 euros. Apple has also discontinued the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Retailers have not yet matched these increases, so cheaper deals remain available through price comparison sites. Third-party stores still sell discontinued models, and Apple support remains accessible for devices bought elsewhere.
