Apple raises iPhone 18 Pro prices by $100 with new 48MP camera

Apple announced the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max with a major camera upgrade and a $100 price increase, starting at $1,199 and $1,299 respectively. Both models feature a new 48MP Fusion Main camera with a variable aperture, plus the A20 Pro chip with faster cores and doubled AI cores. They also promise up to 45 hours of video playback and faster charging. Preorders begin Sept. 12, with launch on Sept. 18. The phones keep the same design but add a larger vapor chamber and support three Live Activities on the Dynamic Island.
