Russian forces strike Kyiv's Southern Bridge again, damaging cars and building

pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

Russian forces struck Kyiv's Southern Bridge again overnight into October 2, according to Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, damaging a building and cars and temporarily suspending transport. Klitschko reported the strike on social media, saying emergency services were at the scene. In the Holosiivskyi district, debris fell on open territory, breaking windows in a non-residential building and damaging several vehicles, with no casualties or fires reported. The attack follows a similar incident on the morning of October 1, when two drones hit near the bridge's support structure. That strike caused no critical damage, and ground transport was being restored before the new attack halted metro and ground transport again.
