Ukrainian drone barrage sets St. Petersburg oil terminal ablaze
Ukrainian attacks set an oil export terminal ablaze in St. Petersburg on Sunday, as Kyiv launched more than 1,000 drones across Russia in one of its largest ever aerial bombardments. One person was killed and five wounded in the attack, which sparked fires at the Petersburg Oil Terminal and Ruchi oil depot, said Gov. Alexander Beglov. Russia's Defense Ministry reported destroying 1,015 Ukrainian drones over 15 regions, Crimea, and the Black Sea. The strikes come amid tensions with Washington, as President Trump criticized Kyiv for targeting Russian oil infrastructure. Ukraine resumed attacks after a three-day hiatus, with President Zelenskyy accusing Russia of 76 strikes on Ukrainian energy sites since an agreed ceasefire.
