Russian attacks killed at least eight people, wounded about 60, and left over one million without power in Ukraine on Friday, authorities reported. Fatalities included a 71-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man in Kharkiv, two in Kramatorsk, two in Dnipropetrovsk, and one in Volyn, where drones also hit a customs terminal and shopping malls in Sumy and Rivne. Repair teams restored electricity to over one million people by day's end, but outages may persist through Saturday, with 370,000 homes in Volyn initially affected. The UN reported civilian deaths rose 85% in the last month.
