Allies have enough Patriot missiles for Ukraine to survive winter, Zelenskyy says

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference in Brussels that allied countries have sufficient stockpiles of Patriot missiles for Ukraine to survive the winter. Zelenskyy raised the issue of air defense amid Ukraine's difficulties in protecting civilian and energy infrastructure from Russian attacks. He stated that if an energy ceasefire with Russia cannot be reached, Ukraine needs antiballistic missiles to defend itself. The statement comes after reports that Ukraine's Patriot missile stockpiles were nearly depleted. The missiles are the only system capable of intercepting Russia's ballistic missiles, which have recently targeted Ukrainian power plants and caused widespread blackouts.
