Russian drones hit Volyn industrial site, causing large fire

Russian drones attacked an industrial enterprise in the urban-type settlement of Manevychi in Volyn region, causing a large fire, according to the head of the regional military administration. The strike occurred on the morning of October 18, with warehouse and production facilities burning. The fire is extensive with heavy smoke, and all relevant services are working at the scene. No casualties have been reported so far. Authorities advised local residents to stay indoors, close windows and doors, and avoid outdoor activity due to wind blowing toward the settlement. The attack was part of a broader Russian overnight assault on Ukraine involving one Iskander-M ballistic missile and 180 Shahed drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles. Other regions, including Vinnytsia, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Poltava, also reported strikes, with casualties and damage to infrastructure and residential buildings.
