Kyiv schedules power outages for October 18 across all consumer groups

Kyiv will implement scheduled electricity outages on October 18, with power cuts occurring once or twice daily depending on the consumer group, according to schedules published by DTEK Kyiv Electrical Networks. The outage timetable for all 60 groups was released on October 17, 2026, following orders from Ukrenergo. Groups 1-2 face outages from 22:00-24:00, groups 3-4 from 07:00-10:30, groups 5-6 from 10:00-13:30, groups 7-8 from 13:00-16:30, groups 9-10 from 16:00-19:30, and groups 11-12 from 19:00-22:30. Several groups, including 13-14 and 25-26, will experience two separate outage periods, while others like groups 17 and 29 have only one scheduled interruption. Residents can check their specific schedule via the operator's website, chatbot, the "Kyiv Digital" app, or YASNO platforms. Kyiv residents have previously reported that actual outages sometimes differ from published schedules, which officials attribute to rapid changes in electricity consumption affecting real-time grid management.
