Russian strike on sleeping Izyum residents wounds three, damages homes

On the night of October 18, Russian forces struck the city of Izyum in Kharkiv Oblast, targeting residential buildings and wounding three civilians. The attack occurred around midnight using a multiple launch rocket system, hitting a private household in the Nizhny Horod district. Over 10 private homes were damaged, and the three injured civilians received medical assistance. The city administration is still clarifying the full extent of the damage. This follows recent Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia and Poltava, which also caused civilian casualties.
