Ukrainian drones strike Putin's hometown, oil terminal ablaze

wiadomosci.onet.pl (Polish) —

Ukrainian drones attacked Saint Petersburg, Russian President Vladimir Putin's hometown, overnight Saturday to Sunday, causing a major fire at an oil terminal in the port. The strike targeted critical infrastructure in the city. The attack also reportedly hit a VK data center, with 640 server racks and over 20,000 servers, which caught fire. The Korabelny Bridge in the city center was another target, connecting the port to northern suburbs. This was not the first drone strike on Saint Petersburg, as Ukrainians previously hit a Wildberries logistics center. The attack may be retaliation for Russian drone strikes on key Dnieper bridges in Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia.
