Drone Attack on Saint Petersburg Sparks Oil Terminal Fire and Hits VK Data Center

news.liga.net (Ukrainian) —

A massive drone attack targeted Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad region overnight, causing fires at an oil terminal and infrastructure damage, with Russian officials claiming 126 drones were shot down. Governors confirmed fires at civilian sites across four city districts and the Petersburg Oil Terminal. A drone struck a cable-stayed bridge, and the VK data center was hit, causing temporary power outages and flight suspensions at Pulkovo Airport. The OSINT channel Exilenova+ reported an ongoing fire at the Ruchi oil depot, a Rosneft facility with 114,000 cubic meters of fuel storage capacity. This follows previous drone attacks on the Ust-Luga port in September.
