Finland restricts airspace and sea areas in Gulf of Finland again

yle.fi (Indonesian) —

The Finnish Defence Forces have again imposed temporary restrictions on airspace and sea areas in the eastern Gulf of Finland, effective before 3 a.m. on Sunday as a precautionary measure. The restrictions aim to secure the operating conditions for both civilians and authorities in the potential interception of drones. No drones have reportedly strayed into Finland, according to the Defence Command. Similar restrictions were implemented on Saturday morning and in recent months due to the risk of drones drifting into Finland amid Ukrainian strikes near the country's vicinity in its defense against Russia.
