More than ten flights bound for Moscow's Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports were diverted to other airports due to active security restrictions. Domodedovo redirected flights from Baku, Tashkent, and Yerevan to Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and Moscow's Sheremetyevo. Vnukovo reported 16 flights from cities including Pskov, Antalya, Istanbul, and Dubai were sent to destinations such as Saint Petersburg, Minsk, and Samara. The restrictions on arrivals and departures at both airports were previously announced by Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency, with diversion details confirmed by airport online boards.
