Zelensky: Russia launched 850 Shahed drones in relentless attack after Starlink limits
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russia launched over 850 Shahed drones against Ukraine since the start of the previous day, with no hour of clear skies, resulting in dozens of strikes despite some drones being shot down. Zelensky attributed the continuous attack to artificial restrictions on Ukraine's defensive capabilities, specifically citing Starlink speed limitations. He stated Russia deliberately escalated strikes after receiving sanctions relief and observing pressure attempts on Ukraine. Zelensky called for strong decisions to end the war, stable support for Ukraine's air defense, and honesty from partners, urging America to side with Ukraine's protection rather than the aggressor. Nearly 360 drones targeted Kirovohrad region, the largest attack there since the full-scale invasion.
