Trump denies ordering Starshield cut for Ukraine
Donald Trump said Friday he did not order a reduction in Starshield services for Ukraine, denying involvement after Kyiv reported restrictions on the SpaceX-operated military satellite system. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the service was being restored after the White House reportedly asked SpaceX to reinstate it. Trump told journalists, "It wasn't me. And I don't think it was Elon," adding the service was "the same as it's always been." Musk had earlier said any limits on Starshield speed or usage were "decided by the US military and ultimately POTUS." Ukraine relies on Starshield for battlefield communications and drone operations, amid rising US-Ukraine tensions over Trump's criticism of Zelenskyy and a US diesel deal.
