Musk persuaded Trump to slow Starlink for Ukraine, The Telegraph reports

rbc.ua (Ukrainian) —

Elon Musk proposed limiting Starlink's military package for Ukraine to President Donald Trump, who agreed, according to The Telegraph, citing four informed sources. The restrictions slowed Ukrainian drone defense operations. Musk and Trump previously denied involvement in the decision, but sources say both participated. A European official and two Ukrainian sources confirmed this version of events. The US-imposed limits caused Ukrainian drones to lose connection with Starshield at speeds over 160 km/h. Trump stated on October 16 he did not make the decision to restrict Starlink for Ukraine.
