rbc.ua (Ukrainian) —

Moscow suspended operations at all four of its airports on Thursday evening due to a mass drone attack, with Russian officials reporting 47 drones shot down as of 0:15 Friday. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported the downing of drones in stages via Telegram, initially claiming 10 destroyed, then 11 more, and later 16 additional drones. Russia's aviation agency confirmed the temporary halt at Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky airports. The attack follows previous Ukrainian drone strikes on Moscow on the nights of October 13 and 14. Recently, a drone attack also forced President Vladimir Putin's plane to divert to St. Petersburg upon his return from Turkmenistan.
