Zelensky Accuses Trump of Betrayal Over Starlink and Missile Warnings
Ukraine has accused the United States of indirectly supporting Russia in the war, citing missing missile warnings and restricted Starlink internet that weakened Kyiv's defenses. President Volodymyr Zelensky charged Donald Trump with standing on the wrong side of history. A senior Ukrainian official told the BBC that Washington failed to warn about Russian missiles and slowed Starlink speeds, calling it obvious that Russia is being helped. Technology adviser Serhii Beskrestnov confirmed significant Starlink restrictions on Wednesday night, hindering military operations. Zelensky said he will resume strikes on Russian oil refineries unless the US delivers more Patriot missiles. Elon Musk defended Starlink, saying restrictions follow presidential orders, while Washington denied reducing intelligence sharing. Zelensky told the Financial Times the outage was not technical but intentional, adding that Trump favors autocratic leaders like Putin. He stated Ukraine feels betrayed but will not sell its country.
