rfi.fr (Ukrainian) —

Belgium will deliver ten F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine by the end of this year, Prime Minister Bart De Wever announced after meeting President Volodymyr Zelensky at an EU summit in Brussels. De Wever said the jets will help Ukraine defend against Russian drones, adding that deliveries were delayed by F-35 procurement issues but are now beginning. The transfer is part of a previous commitment of 30 jets by 2028. The leaders also discussed ammunition supplies from Belgian firm FN Herstal. De Wever reaffirmed strong support for Ukraine, while the EU summit also addressed budget disputes and energy prices.
