Russian drone attack causes partial power, water outages in Lutsk

unian.ua (Ukrainian) —

In Lutsk, a Russian drone attack on critical infrastructure on Thursday evening caused partial power and water outages in some city districts, according to the regional administration. Debris from a downed drone damaged power lines. Three Russian drones were shot down over the Volyn region, but fragments hit electricity transmission lines in the Lutsk community, disrupting power and water supply. Emergency crews are working to restore services, said regional governor Roman Romaniuk. The attack follows recent Russian strikes on western Ukraine, including a drone incident in the Lviv region on October 13. Officials report Russia is testing jet-powered drones capable of reaching targets up to 880 kilometers away.
