Kyiv metro station damaged in Russian ballistic missile attack

pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles overnight on October 19, damaging a metro station. The strike caused a rupture of the running and contact rails near the station. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported the damage to a metro station on the city's left bank. The Air Force had earlier warned of a ballistic missile threat from the east, with rockets heading toward the Ukrainian capital. The attack followed a previous ballistic missile strike on October 18 that killed a 21-year-old woman and injured three others. Multiple districts in Kyiv were hit during that earlier assault.
