Lithuania says Russia likely behind attempted arson on Starlink equipment

express.co.uk —

Lithuania's prime minister said Russia is likely behind an attempted arson attack on a company storing Starlink equipment, calling it part of Moscow's hybrid war against European allies of Ukraine. Mindaugas Sinkevičius said the incident occurred around 2am local time, with incendiary liquids found in containers of three to 10 litres. He noted authorities had warned the firm of possible attacks and that security had been stepped up, causing the attempt to fail. A National Security Commission meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, and an investigation is underway. Defence minister Robertas Kaunas confirmed the incident was prevented and brought under control.
