Lithuania calls Starlink station arson attempt sabotage tied to Russia

pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

Lithuania has declared an attempted arson attack on a Starlink base station a sabotage operation linked to Russia, aimed at undermining Ukraine's defense capabilities. The incident occurred on Sunday, and authorities are searching for suspects. Vilmantas Vitkauskas, head of the government's National Crisis Management Center, said it was not an ordinary fire but a deliberate act of sabotage connected to similar attacks in Bulgaria and Poland. Vitkauskas stated the attacks are part of Russian efforts to disrupt Starlink operations and affect Ukrainian military success. This follows a September 23 fire at a Starlink ground station in Poland and reports of possible arson on 11 antennas in Bulgaria this month.
