Zelensky: US again failed to warn Ukraine before Russian ballistic strike
President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the United States again failed to warn Ukraine about a Russian ballistic missile attack, according to his social media post. Russia launched 16 ballistic missiles, none of which were intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses. The attack occurred in multiple waves overnight, targeting energy infrastructure, a medical clinic, a school, a metro station, and residential buildings. Zelensky criticized the US for weakening sanctions pressure on Russia and delaying Patriot missile deliveries, calling this policy a "denial of reality." Air Force spokesperson Yuri Ignat noted Russia struck twice, around 23:00 and 03:00, with a warning given only for the second strike. Ukraine relies on its own intelligence sources. The attack involved Iskander-M/S-400 missiles, cruise missiles, and 269 drones, with 243 drones and four cruise missiles shot down.
