Zelenskyy: US Patriot missile deliveries to Ukraine down fourfold

rbc.ua (Russian) —

The United States is supplying Ukraine with only 12 Patriot missiles per month, roughly four times fewer than under the Biden administration, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who cited delays in agreed deliveries. Zelenskyy stated Ukraine has paid for the weapons, but only part of the shipments have been approved, calling the issue "not technical." Under Biden, missiles were provided free as military aid, while under Trump, Ukraine purchases them. Zelenskyy proposed a deal: Ukraine would stop striking Russian diesel fuel in exchange for Patriot missiles, but said Washington simply wants Kyiv to halt such attacks without guarantees. Ukraine faces growing difficulty defending against ballistic missiles, as CNN reports Patriot stocks have again run out, leaving a recent mass attack unrepelled. Greece and Spain refused to transfer their Patriot missiles, some nearing expiration, and only the US can provide large-scale help.
